TinyTrak3 Makes it all possible!

This Radio format will allow the user to connect a GPS to a radio and send bits of information over the air. The bits of information include Position, Speed, Altitude and a message. Messaging can incorporated in the transmission also. The end result is a poor mans tracking and internet via radio.

In order to run APRS you should have:

1. A Radio that will transmit and receive on 144.390mhz FM

2. A TNC (KPC3 Plus) or tracker (TinyTrack III) to Convert the Radio Mic and Speaker information to a digital signal

2a. or you could use a program that will act like a TNC that uses your computer sound card. If you do this I recommend the RIGblaster or Nomic from West Mountain that will interface between your radio and your computer.

3. Cables to connect your TNC or Audio interface to the Radio and Computer
